This Privacy Policy explains what data Olilz collects when you use olilz.xyz and associated services (the "Platform"), how we use it, and your rights. By using the Platform you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: When you sign in via Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord user ID, username, email address, and avatar URL. This is provided by Discord — see their Privacy Policy for details on what they share.
• Profile data: Information you add to your profile, such as a display name, bio, or linked accounts.
• Activity data: Content you create on the Platform — comments, follows, coin transactions, playtest sign-ups, map submissions, giveaway entries, and shop purchases.
• Playtest data: Attendance records, maps tested, and any feedback submitted during playtesting sessions.
• Moderation data: Warnings, reports, bans, and appeal submissions, used to enforce our Moderation Policy.
• Technical data: Standard server logs may include IP addresses and browser information for security and diagnostic purposes.

We only collect data that is necessary to operate the Platform and provide our services.

2. How We Use Your Data

1. To provide the service — running your account, enabling features, and personalising your experience.
2. Coins & rewards — tracking balances, daily streaks, and purchases.
3. Playtesting — managing sign-ups, attendance, and map feedback.
4. Moderation — enforcing community standards and processing reports and appeals.
5. Diagnostics — identifying and fixing bugs and improving platform performance.
6. Support — responding to queries or data requests you send us.

3. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide our services. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data in accordance with GDPR, except where we are required by law to retain it.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for commercial or marketing purposes — ever. Your data stays within the Platform and the two infrastructure providers listed below, both of which are strictly necessary for the site to function:

• Supabase — our database provider. Your data is stored on their infrastructure and cannot be accessed by anyone outside of Olilz.
• Vercel — our hosting provider. They serve the website but do not have access to your personal data beyond standard server logs.

Neither provider receives your data for their own purposes. The Platform could not operate without them, and no other third party has access to your personal data.

The only exception is if we are legally required to disclose data in response to a valid court order or law enforcement request.

When processing a data access or deletion request, we require proof of account ownership to prevent unauthorised disclosure of your data.

5. Children

The Platform is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that we hold data for a user under 13, it will be deleted immediately. Contact us at olilz@olilz.xyz if you believe this applies.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion — request that your data be deleted ("right to be forgotten")
• Rectification — request that inaccurate data be corrected
• Restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data
• Portability — request your data in a portable format
• Any other rights applicable under local law

To exercise any of these rights, submit a request via our GDPR request form or email olilz@olilz.xyz. We will respond within 20 working days (Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays). If there is a problem with our data handling practices, we will aim to resolve it within 4 working days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Significant changes will be announced on the Platform. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
